My phone broke which was a blessing in disguise, a picture less but way more present experience. I got a giddy feeling working the beds and putting the seeds into the ground imagining digging them up and serving them in only a few short months time. Iv always said the reason I love to do what I do is that I get to create things and then gift it to people. The fact that the ingredients will be the frutation of our labour makes this only more poignant.
I also planted some Aubergine’s into pots. I’ve heard they can be tricky but I’ve got high hopes. Re-reading over our seed invoice is slightly comical.

The kitchen has had its first lick of paint, and a window out to sea.
A little bed for herbs has been made outside the kitchen door and we started a fruit garden with twenty different canes. A mixed variety of raspberry, blackberry and cranberry.
